Share a Smile Tri with cousin Jy
So after Michelle and I signed up for our tri, she found this kids tri in Orem. We signed the boys up and they were excited to "race". We spent the night at their house the night before and of course they loved that!
Night before "the race". We're heading to Hello Yogurt for a little treat.
Michelle and John introduced (and treated) us to a yummy new, make-it-yourself frozen yogurt place. The boys all loaded up with lots of toppings.
Morning of the race, nice and EARLY!
All marked up and ready to go! Poor Luke, I forgot his goggles and he wore Michelle's pink ones. He was a good sport about it, though.
They swam one length of the pool............. (75 feet)

Good job, Luke!! I was really proud of him because two days before the race, we received an email saying the pool was 25 METERS, not 25 FEET like they told us originally. He had practiced in the pool several times, but hadn't ever gone that long before. He was a little nervous, but he did great!!
Transition time... hurry as fast as you can to get your shoes and helmet on....
They biked 2/3 mile in nothing flat.
And ran 1/3 mile in just a few minutes.

The whole race was over in less than ten minutes... but they had fun. Caleb wasn't happy about all the photos we were snapping.
Way to go, boys! Next year they want to do a longer race. They were just getting warmed up!

Here is how they spent the next hour: riding around and playing on the jungle gym.
