Honey, here I come!

We just extracted our honey last weekend. What a fun summer it has been with the bees! We have learned a lot... what to do... and what NOT to do! Caleb's hive did great and he got just under 40lbs of honey. Our three hives did pretty good (considering they swarmed) ... we got almost 50lbs. (about 3 gallons) It tastes really good! Now for breakfast the boys want toast with "homemade honey" on it! :)

Here is a little look-back at the whole bee experience. If this video really uploads and works I'm going to be totally amazed and very proud of myself because I never can figure these things out!! Be sure to turn your speakers on... (if it works!!) :)

THAT WAS SO CUTE!!!! Loved the ending picture, darling darling. And LOVED the song you chose, how perfect. What a neat thing to do as a family! I am going to have to show that to my kids. Good job for figuring that out on your own. (I only can do it cuz Bruce showed me how to upload my videos) Why can't I be your neighbor??! YOU guys are such great parents, what lucky lucky kids to have so many good valuable life experiences like that. Seriously.
I am SO sorry, I just got your comment on my blog and realized I had forgot you called. Life.... has.... been.... time intensive as of late. I will call.
