September: school starting + soccer season + canning peaches/pears = ONE CRAZY MONTH!!
Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico
These caves were awesome!! The inside rooms were ENORMOUS!!! It was nice and chilly down there.
800 feet below the earth they have a restaurant built into the rock. It's kinda crazy! Looks like something from a sci-fi movie.
Below is the entrance to the cave. The night before we hiked the cave, we watched 250,000 bats fly out of the opening at dusk. It looked like smoke swirling up through the air.
