And we're off!! Day #1

We stopped in Grand Junction to stretch our legs and get gas... 

 (first of 150 stops at a gas station, I'm afraid!)

This rock on the bank of the Colorado River provided lots of entertainment for the boys!

The Colorado River was so full and running super fast.  We
saw lots of places where it overran its banks and flooded parks
and walkways.

We stopped at a great park in Vail and had dinner.  

The girls had fun playing on the playground ...

while the boys played a mean game of "stay off the ground" on the awesome play structure!

Here's our "home away from home" for the next few weeks!  

(I hope we all survive each other!)
